A sure fire best seller, attach “Beyonce” to anything and it bound to be a success. Topshop has announced an activewear deal with the superstar that is bound to be one of the most popular celebrity collaboration ranges ever.
Set to launch in 2015, the line will feature active wear clothing, footwear and accessories that can double up as regular on-trend garments. “Athleisure” is a big trend at the moment, and Mrs Cater, who is known for daring moves in building her music empire, is making the most of the trend.
Unlike other endorsement deals, Beyonce’s deal with the British brand will see the star take a 50% cut of all profits from this range. The project had been named Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. Already a co-owner of her own label, House of Dereon, Beyonce has been a player in the fashion game for a while. She also has her own fragrance. Of her latest venture, the star said she couldn’t think of a better brand to have gone into business with, and that she loves how forward-thinking the Topshop creative team has always been.
The clothing line will be available at Topshop stores and the website from next year.
