Giant cloud storage company Dropbox, a tech organisation with a daily workflow of tens of thousands of freelance designers and creative teams has purchased Pixelapse, a startup incubated by Y combinatory and StatX.
Figures concerning the acquisition of Pixelapse were not made known to the public.
Pixelapse made this announcement on its blog: “today we are proud to announce that we’re joining Dropbox.”
Pixelapse was established with the thrust of building the definitive version control and collaboration platform for creatives. The joint between these two companies will bring forward the prospect of developing products at spread out this vision to millions of users.
Meanwhile, Pixelapse will continue to function as a separate product for the whole of next year with the objective of luring customers over to Dropbox.
