Online betting giant Betway have announced that the latest expansion of their brand involves offering their apps and website facilities to customers in South Africa. The move follows their first African license in Kenya that was granted in 2015 and looks set to take place early 2017.

The Betway sponsorship of the World Snooker’s UK Championship was renewed this year for another two year period. The company had previously sponsored the Triple Crown tournament starting in 2015 and in 2016 the event was held at the York Barbican and was won by Neil Robertson, with the final featuring a 147 break while playing Liang Wenbo.
On a smaller scale, Betway are involved with projects at grassroots levels such as the work with Ghana Premier League soccer club Ashanti Gold. Following their expansion into Kenya last year, Betway have announced that their new website will be going live into the New Year.
