DSTV Win a House Competition

In 2015, Michael Mtilwa (34) won a home in the DSTV Compact Win a House competition. According to a report in the Sowetan, Mtilwa won a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house worth R500 000 in Cosmo Creek in Johannesburg.

After a successful run in 2015, the Win A Home competition is back for another run in 2016. The new season is set to premiere on SABC3 on Monday 2 May 2016 at 4pm on SABC3’s Afternoon Express.
The premiere design and décor reality show is offering a competition in South Africa to win a house.
The highly anticipated show and competition is sponsored by Private Property, Nedbank, Caesars tone, Plascon and Val de Vie.
According to Private Property: “If you’re a passionate and qualified designer with less than 15 years’ working experience with a hunger to make it big, apply now and you could be one of 3 designers to feature.”
The contestants will turn 3 white box apartments into haute couture homes on a prestigious lifestyle estate in the Cape Winelands.

To enter, you need to fulfil these qualifying criteria:
- Be a legal resident of South Africa, in possession of a valid ID
- Be above the age of 18 years
- Be a registered tax payer in South Africa
