Forging out a successful career in finance often starts with getting the right foundation. As a finance graduate you can achieve this through a number of finance internships.
Finance internships should ideally offer you more learning opportunities as well as on-the-job training. You should be able to learn from mentors in the field while also gaining new skills.
Finance intern: Table Mountain National Parks
The South African National Parks is offering an internship opportunity to South African graduates. Available to unemployed South African graduates with a tertiary qualification in the finance field of study, the internship will be for months.
Interns will earn a stipend of R4500 per month. To qualify, individuals must have strong financial and numeracy skills and be willing to be based in Cape Town for the duration.
Investec Graduate Opportunity
Investec provides a wide range of financial products in South Africa through its Specialist Banking, Asset Management and Wealth and Investment divisions.
To qualify for one of the best finance internships for 2017, candidates must be in possession of a completed BComm degree or similar with ideally one years’ experience.
Candidates must have good analytical skills; they should be a good team player and should have good communication skills.
Meago Asset Managers Graduate Programme
This internship is available to unemployed professionals looking for an opportunity within the financial services sector.
Candidates should be highly motivated individuals with analytical ability and entrepreneurial spirit. They should also have a keen interest in local and global markets and should be perfectionists in pursuing detail.
This is a 12 month internship.
To qualify, candidates should at least have an Honours degree in Business Science, Economics, Financial Maths, Financial Management or Real Estate.
