If plants are something that’s right up your alley or you have a knack for having green fingers then you will enjoy the annual Grahamstown Flower Festival.
Appropriately hosted in the season of all that blooms spring, the festival is also a great way to get the family out for a relaxing and interesting day for lots to do and see.
The festival is all about beautiful displays of plants and flowers, interesting workshops and The Botanical Society has a popular plant sale that runs during the festival.
And for the kids there will be a treasure hunt, which will take place with the grannies on chairs directing the treasure hunters. Also expect guest speakers, flower competitions, garden stalls, open gardens and food court.
