2016 has been an exciting year for the film industry. There is no doubt that Hollywood execs and studios will be hoping to pull in audiences of the same magnitude as those brought in by 2015 blockbusters “Jurassic World” and “Fast 7.”
There are number of new films to look forward to this year.
Ice Age: Collision Course
Scheduled for a July 22 release, this is an upcoming 3D animated family adventure- film. The fifth instalment in the Ice-Age film series it’s one of many new films to look forward to in 2016.
The film sees the likes of Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez, Denis Leary, Keke Palmer and Chris Wedge reprising their roles.
In this instalment, we see Scrat’s epic pursuit of his elusive acorn catapulting him outside of Earth where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the planet.
To save themselves form peril, Manny, Sid, Diego and the rest of the herd leave their home and embark on a quest full of thrill and spills, high and lows, laughter and adventure where travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of new characters.
Bad Moms
Directed by Scott Moore, this film sees Mila Kunis starring as Amy, a mom who puts her family first, second and third. But her man-child husband, high-maintenance kids and idiot boss are taking a toll.
She gives and gives and gives, and then gives a little more, but it’s never enough. When the alpha moms (Christina Applegate, Annie Mumdo and Jada Pinkett-Smith) at her kids’ school push her too far, Amy finally snaps. Good Amy becomes Bad Amy really fast.
Set for a July 29th release, the film features Mila Kunis, Christina Applegate, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Jay Hernandez, Clark Duke and Annie Mumdo.
