That plastic card that you signed up for is it a store card or perhaps a credit card? No. It’s a new kind of card that’s like money in your pocket, a reward card.
And the next time you pop into your local or favourite Woolies branch, as a consumer get rewarded for doing the things you do every day, such as shopping.
And truly benefit from Woolworths rewards (Wrewards), the store’s loyalty programme that offers you exclusive special lower prices and other benefits. Make sure you don’t lose out on the number of different opportunities the programme makes available to earn rewards and spend the rewards currency.
It’s one of the country’s top rewards schemes and so simple to use. Woolworth’s cardholders earn Wrewards by swiping their cards before scanning their purchases at the till. And savings on selected items are reflected immediately as discounts on the prices of these items.
Therefore the reward is immediate, while other rewards take the form of vouchers. The discounts are up to 10% off in the food shop, and up to 20% off specific items in the clothing, beauty and homeware departments.
Wrewards benefits can be accessed via Woolworth’s cards with or without a credit facility and the rewards are tiered. Therefore the more you spend the more rewards you earn.
From the basic reward savings to receiving the free Wmagazine and “spend and save” vouchers. To VIP members who receive all the benefits that other member receive and discount vouchers on new food products and a 10% birthday voucher.
The loyalty programmes also have charity-linked programmes such as MySchool card, which if you have you’re automatically a member of Wrewards; there’s no joining fee. Swipe your card at the till and Woolworths automatically donates, on your behalf. Up to 1% of the value of your purchases to the school or charity of your choice every time you shop
