South Africa has a number of tech and telecoms brands which people rely on. As such, most companies have designed their brands with the intention of capturing and luring consumers to use them. This has thus created a stiff competition. The 2015 Sunday Times Generation Next Survey Awards revealed the coolest brands among South Africa’s youth.
The 2015 Sunday Times Generation Next Survey Awards is an organisation that recognises the coolest brands among SA’s youth. The platform revealed that Nike, Coca-Cola, and Samsung are the top brands. The awards are based on a survey of 5,400 South Africans whose age ranges between 8 and 23. It was conducted by HDI Youth Marketeers in partnership with The Sunday Times, and was sponsored by Waltons.
The survey revealed that the top five brands among South African youths are: Nike, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW.
